Do you neuter all animals before leaving for forever homes where applicable? Please explain either way: Yes, all dogs which have reached maturity are neutered. unless they are too young or too old to tolerate a general anaesthetic. Guided by veterinary assessment.
(*If any animals are not neutered before rehoming due to age/health etc. please provide specific details on your policies, timescales for neutering by the new home, how this is checked by the rescue etc.)

Do you provide insurance when rehoming to new owners?: No but we recommend that the adopter insures their new dog
Will you always take the animal back no matter what? If not please explain under what circumstances etc: Yes always, and dogs can ONLY be returned to Scruples if the adopter is no longer able to keep them.
Rough ‘donation’ guide per animal, please also explain what this involves: £160. Dog is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped to the rescue, wormed and fleaed, vet checked and in good health.
Can RHU staff/volunteers contact you about animals needing rescue backup that have been posted in our ‘backup needed’ section?: Yes if they are whippets.
