Where rescue rehome to: Throughout Scotland
Type of animal(s) Rescue deals with: Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Hamsters, Rats, Degu’s, Gerbils and Chinchillas.
Is Rescue breed specific? Please explain either way: I do not rescue reptiles, dogs, cats or birds.
Do you neuter all animals before leaving for forever homes where applicable? Please explain either way: All rabbits are neutered on arrival at Hutches.
Do you always home check?: I home check all homes that are unknown to me.
If applicable do you always vaccinate?: All rabbits leave with a valid upto date vaccination card.
If applicable do you always worm/flea treat?: All animals are treated with Xeno 450 or Xennex spot on on arrival and then every 6 weeks.
Pancur is also given to rabbits every 6 months.
If applicable do you microchip?: I advise rabbit owners to microchip.
Do you provide insurance when rehoming to new owners?: I offer leaflets on insurance.
Will you always take the animal back no matter what? If not please explain under what circumstances etc: I always take a rescue animal back if it came from Hutches.
Rough ‘donation’ guide per animal, please also explain what this involves:
I ask for a donation towards the rescue.
Some owners pay cash, others opt to pay vet bills for the animal and some owners donate food items.
