Do you neuter all animals before leaving for forever homes where applicable? Please explain either way: YES ferrets over 6 months are neutered before leaving for their forever homes. Kits (babies) cannot be neutered until they are six months old and is part of the contract that the adopter gets them neutered, this is checked with potential adopters vets prior to rehoming (as many vets now refuse to neuter ferrets) Kits are never homed to first time owers due to the neutering and nipping.
