Who can help RHU? ...anybody can help!

Ideally you would be an animal lover who wants to work with animals and animal rescues. Whether you want to help by fostering (perhaps full time stay at home parent, part time worker?), home checking (maybe you can only travel locally, can't foster but would still like to help) and transport (if you have access to a car and could travel a few miles?)

ANYBODY can spread the word, whether you run a forum or a website online,

or by putting up posters and spreading the word in your local area.

Like a chain letter , if 1 person tells 10, those 10 tell 10 more etc. and if 50% of those people actually joined and offered help, within 10 people sending 10 emails (more if you can!) then that's 100 people that could potentially save animals from being Put To Sleep.

How to gain experience

Don't have experience? That's not a problem, we can help you to gain the experience you need. On the forum we have an 'Experience needed' section, where if you would like to become a foster carer you can request a home check, once you have passed the check you can take in your first foster.

If you would like to become a home checker yourself, you can request a local 'tag a long'. This is where someone who already does home checks in your area will take you along on a check so that you can learn what to look for & what questions to ask.
